| Short Description | The Katà delle Cantine Olivella comes from an ancient vine variety Catalanesca, now with the status of IGP denomination of the Catalanesca del Monte Somma. This white wine is of Intense straw yellow with gold-green veins, it envelops the nose with aromas of apricot and pineapple, then chamomile and broom flowers, together with slight mineral puffs and a memory of dried Mediterranean herbs. On the nose the hints of apricot, locally known as "pellecchiella", rowan, cantaloupe, pineapple, broom and chamomile leave room for a marked typical almond note at the end. On the palate a marked mineral vein reflects its volcanic origin. |
