| Short Description | From the town of Asti in the north of Italy this wine is woody subtle and full of flavour, balanced and full-bodied wine with noble tannins gained through the rigorous wine making process. After a traditional soaking of the grapes with skins for 8-10 days, fermentation takes place in stainless tanks. The wine then matures for a short time in wooden barrels, followed by a rest for 6 to 8 months in steel tanks. Pairs well with grilled meat dishes, a tapas evening and charcuterie |
