| Short Description | Primitivo Calamuri is an exclusive Primitivo of Cantine Menhir Salento from it vineyard with ancient vines. Thanks to the warm sun of this land the wine is made from well ripen grapes that gives the wine characteristics of black cherry, plum, mulberry, vanilla and cloves, carob and liquorice and juniper berries. The texture is also revealed upon tasting, where it is full and structured and pleasantly soft. In the finale echoes of officinal herbs return. Gaetano Marangelli, along with his brother, Vito Angelo, natives of Puglia have began making wines through artisan processes that respect the time-honoured traditions of local winemaking, while experimenting with unfamiliar varietals and exploring new ways to emphasize the uniqueness of Puglia’s grapes, fertile soil, and vineyards.
