ANTONIO MAZZELLA - Per e Palummo Piedirosso Ischia Doc - 75cl

Per’e Palummo expertly produced in the Municipality of Ischia and Barano d'Ischia, Grotta di Terra and Monte Barano from 300 to 500 meters above sea level.

This is a red vinification of Piedirosso grapes, with its maceration on the skins in must for 3 to 5 days then subjected to controlled fermentation temperature. Its transformation and aging is achieved  steel vessels for 5 months.

This process creates a wonderful wine that is of intense ruby ​​red in colour, on the nose It gives away a Characteristic scent of violet. On the palate it is dry, rightly tannic.

Pairs well with rabbit bucatini alla cacciatore, game and cheese.

Serve at temperatures between 16° and 18° C.
