Orvieto Amabile are richer than the dry Secco wines and could be described as medium-dry. This makes it an ideal bar wine, gentle and soft on the palate with subtle peach and almond fruit and enough freshness to carry that enticing sweet edge. Made from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Verdello, Grechetto, Malvasia and Drupeggio grapes. The present Bigi’s headquarters at Ponte Giulio with its capacity of 30.000 hl, with its avant-garde vinification equipment and its great park of casks and barriques for ageing marries perfectly the modern technical production requirements with age-old tradition.
