SAVIAN - Primitivo Puglia IGT - 75cl

This Savian Primitivo is a red wine of great substance, refined and elegant. The grapes, after careful selection, are harvested in the first half of September. The vinification takes place through fermentation at controlled temperature followed by malolactic fermentation, in order to give the wine a more velvety touch on the palate and a greater stability over time. The refinement continues for at least 10 months in the bottle.

This delicious primitivo is bright purplish red. The scent is quite intense and persistent, fruity with notes of cherry and black cherries in alcohol. In the mouth it is light spicy note, dry and soft. Quite fresh and tannic, sapid and full-bodied.

It can be combined with all the great dishes of the Italian tradition, from baked lasagna with saffron risotto. Ideal with game and aged cheeses.
