| Short Description | Nero d'Avola is the most iconic red wine grape in Sicily and is one of Italy's most important indigenous varieties. Dark cherry-red, with sweet tannins and plum and peppery flavours. This wine is full-bodied similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, and Syrah but with high tannins and acidity which go well which rich red meat dishes. Ages well up to 10yrs. |
